This service also offers a full design package for any alterations, extensions or other building works proposed to any property type as described on the preceding page under design only.

In addition this service offers a full specification, tender and contract supervision package from the initial design briefing to completion of the works and agreement of the contractors final accounts.

The service includes:

Preparation of a detailed Specification of Works describing all the activities to be undertaken by the selected contractor. This will include general details relating to the contract, site and conditions, together with descriptions of all the works required, detailing, as far as possible, the quality and materials to be used to ensure the works are completed satisfactorily.

Preparation of any additional detailed or service drawings.

We will seek competitive tenders from a number of reputable contractors selected from our approved list and deal with any queries that may arise during the tender process. Forward the received tenders with our recommendation as to the tender to accept. Appoint the selected contractor and make arrangements for the works to be commenced.

Carry out periodic inspections as the works progress to ensure this is carried out in accordance with the drawings etc., and authorise interim payments as required, including a final inspection and approval of the contractors final account.
